Bill Zebub has put together a meet-the-cast interview of  “Clowna Nostra” – the most offensive movie ever made.

If you are familiar with the work of Bill Zebub, nothing is black or white.  When he made Scienceless Fiction, he wanted to see if he needed to over-explain content that was controversial.  He wrote the movie for people to enjoy while ACTIVELY viewing – they had to make decisions about every moment.  Unfortunately, brainwashing steered many audience members.  They had knee-jerk reactions stemming from their indoctrination.  People who made sensible interpretations were the minority.  Thankfully, some people who were outraged at first  were later able to realize what the movie was really designed to accomplish.

In “Clowna Nostra” Bill Zebub depicted something that would never occur in reality.  Two extremist views actually exchange dialogue, albeit in exaggerated and comical situations.  You will never see this in real life.  There is no talking over one another, and no side taken by the camera.  Both have their say, and both are depicted as caricatures, yet there is truth in what is shown.  Enjoy he ride.  You will love and hate what you see, but the interpretations is 100% up to you, even if you are brainwashed.  Nothing preachy is presented.  If comedy is a social mirror, then this is a social circus-mirror.  Laugh, please.

Nightmare on Elmo’s Street and Holocaust Cannibal might appear on Bluray as re-edited versions.  This will depend on fan support.  Bill Zebub will run a crowdfunding campaign for advance copes, limited cover art, and various props from past movies in addition to other perks.  If you would like to be notified of this crowdfunder, Email bill@bill.zebub.com to be put on the list.

As a special treat, Bill Zebub is offering a limited number of BD-Rs of the original cuts of both films (on one disc).  You can enjoy them in HD.  It’s just the disc (no packaging) but each one is hand-numbered and signed.

When Holocaust Cannibal was first released, a chain of stores pre-ordered a LOT, but an executive saw the word “holocaust” and panicked.  The synopsis of the movie makes it clear in the packaging that the only target of insults is the NAZIs, but the executive believed that if he made a mistake in comprehension, then consumers would too?  Really?  Well, even if people are that stupid, it’s easily corrected by READING THE FUCKIN’ DESCRIPTION ON THE BACK COVER!!!

The movie was yanked.  Ironically, the store carries seven titles that bear the word “holocaust” – this is what happens when an executive who has no understanding of movies interferes with the decisions of the acquisitions department for the chain.

Both movies on the BD-R, and the Bluray (if it gets made) feature the actress formerly known as Misty Mundae, who goes by the name “Erin Brown” in her current phase.

The two flicks go well together as a double feature because the feeling of absurdity is common to both even though the stories and environments are different.  If you have seen them and would like to voice your opinion about what might be good changes in the re-edits, feel free to Email Bill Zebub.  If you can’t tell from the actor interviews of cast members, he is open to suggestions and also to ridicule.  A joke is funny even if it is at his expense.

The most dedicated fans of Bill Zebub’s movies are proof that actions speak louder than words.  Some people say that they are fans, but the die-hards do more than just talk.

It’s no surprise that fans of any artist behave this way.  What makes the crowdfunder for CLOWNA NOSTRA so special is that Bill Zebub simply stated that he was making the most offensive movie that he had yet written, and fans supported it far more than they did his previous crowdfunding campaigns.  Of course, there can be confounding factors, like Bill Zebub getting more accepted and understood, and more famous, but judging from the testimonials of fans, they want to see what new ideas will be explored.  They trust that his intentions are artistic, not malicious or infantile.

It is unwise to shock just for the sake of shocking.  It doesn’t sell movies, despite what you think.  Well, it could be unwise to make a movie that is described as “offensive” in this era when immature people are rewarded for crying about being outraged, and during a period when merchants are frightened about stocking controversial material.  But BILL ZEBUB does NOT make movies to offend people.  He makes movies to entertain people who like content that may be deemed offensive by people who do not resonate with the humor.    Some people don’t understand that their tastes are not universal.  There is actually a diversity of personalities.

Contributors have made more things possible for this particular movie, which was initially on a shoe-string budget because Bill Zebub did not think that there would be much interest in this philosophical comedy.  Luckily, he was wrong.

Beyond all other positive effects of the successful crowdfunder, the support was a morale-booster. The often exiled and vilified director sees that as much as he suffers the hateful eye of many, there are enough kindred spirits who enjoy his work to make his sacrifices mean something.

Bill Zebub would like to praise Frank Kiko Montoya for being the most giving of them all during this campaign.
