Bill Zebub started a fanzine in 1993 which became a magazine in 1996.  “The Grimoire of Exalted Deeds” is currently web-based but will have occasional issues printed, and anthologies are expected to be published.

The pull-your-pants-down style of interviewing bands has continued in video form.  Currently there are four DVD. the latest being named “Metal Retardation Volume 4” and it has a free version.  Actually they all have free versions.  Collectors, however, insist on owning the DVD’s.

Here is an interview with Peter Steele.  It was meant to be a demo for a death metal documentary which was to be shown to investors, but any documentary about music is considered a music product (and outside of the usual documentary realm).  Surprisingly, excepts from this ended up in the made-with-camcorder DVD.  It proved that the heart of the movie is more important than the look, the budget, the technical aspects, or any other physical part,

Before you watch, understand that Bill Zebub was not meant to be heard for the demo, which makes the interactions funny.
